Lots of Driving

Howdy y'all!

Another week has passed. This week was super busy because we went to the temple and also had exchanges with the Sister Training Leaders! Me, Sister Tony, and two other sisters drove down to Ferguson on Wednesday night, about a three hour drive. Fun times.. We got to stay with some sisters there, and then the next morning we met at the chapel nearby at 7:15 and drove by bus to Hamilton! There we went inside the temple and it was so good! I think it's because it's my last time going for a while that I really felt the spirit and had a really good time there. Although that's probably just because the temple is so special! I'm so grateful for the temple so close in Houston, and I'll make it a strong point in my life for the coming years.

Friday morning, Sister Tony and I went back to Whangarei and taught for a couple hours, then got ready for our stake talent show! that was so fun and a lot of people showed up. There was a great feeling of unity as wards put on acts or sang songs. It was truly amazing. After that, sister Tony and I drove up to Kaikohe for exchanges! My first exchange, what to say...

It was really good! I was with Sister Peck, who's been an STL for seven months. being with her was a truly great learning experience and I learned tons in the day I was with her. We visited one of her investigators, and he was really depressed when we went over, but the more we talked with him, the better he felt. Sister Peck shared 2 Nephi 2 with him, and it really helped! It was a good time for us.

Sister Tony and I are enjoying the work. We actually have a baptism this Sunday! This family has four kids to baptize, so it'll be a nice time.

Not much else happened this week, but at least I have pictures! there is much to look forward to, and I hope you're all well!

Love,
Hailey

1. Sister Tony and me enjoying our dinner. She mostly does the cooking...
2. This picture was taken by our district leader, so... We know we look good.
3. Back on the bike! This was at a church museum next to the temple.
